I was born here in the Capital District in 1962 and began drawing as soon as I was big enough to hold a crayon. People have always called me, ’gifted’ or ’naturally talented’. I’m not sure thats true or if I just excelled due to the praise I received from it. At any rate, I was always sketching, drawing, coloring or doodling. I do believe if there is a special talent or gifting residing in me, it is my ability to imagine and picture things unseen. To see what others find unimaginable and then bring those unseen things to life creatively through my art.

I attended grade school in Greenville, NY. High School at Faith Christian Academy in Stottville, NY. and graduated from Alcove Christian Academy in Alcove, NY. Following High School I attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In 1983, I married my high school crush and took a job in a textile mill to pay the bills. Now twenty-five years- and four kids later I was still working in a manufacturing plant still trying to pay the bills.

In 2007 I decided to take my talent and ability and jump ship into the ocean of self-employment. So, here I am, treading water, but using my artistic talent. There is nothing better than enjoying the work that you do, and when others enjoy your work as well- it makes it extra special!
